PGY1 Retreat: June 9, 2008 from 4-9 PM
The PGY1 retreat is June 9th from 4-9PM at the Guilford House on campus for categoricals and med/peds interns. Here's the coverage plan:
1. Joelle, Nora and Ankur are on overnight call at UH the night before. You guys will sign out to the UH nightfloats (Karen Parker and Laure) at 0100 on 6/9 and get some sleep. You'll still sign out at 1PM post call and go home/rest/shower (please) before the retreat.
2. Jaime--you are on call at the VA the night before. Sign out to Mazen (the VANF) as described above.
3. Lacie is on call at the VA. Chiraag is your senior and is on-call with you, so he'll take care of the team while you're gone.
4. Andrew Parchman is on call for White at the VA. Ben Gartrell is the senior and will cover the team while you're gone.
5. Amr ElToukhy is on-call in the UH MICU. Your senior is in charge of the MICU while you're gone.
6. Karol Fortich is on-call for Eckel. Nil, you'll take call on 6/9 instead of 6/10 and take care of the Eckel team while Karol is at the retreat.
7. Mohammed Ali is on-call for Weisman. Your senior, John Jakob will take care of the team while you're gone.
8. Kwei is on-call for Carpenter. Your senior, Leena, will watch the team while you're gone.
Everyone else's coverage should be self-explanatory. For those in clinic, there will be no patients scheduled after 2:30.
