Bronson's Day is May 15th, 2008. 

This is the day we take the interns to a baseball game.  I have listed everyone's individual coverage plan below.  In general, if you are on call the night before (5/14), you will sign out to a x-cover senior at midnight and go get some sleep so you can enjoy the game the next day.  If you are on-call 5/15, your senior spends the night in your place! 

Everyone comes to work on the 15th (in professional attire)--you should come early, preround and write as many of your notes as possible before rounds.  You will round with the team, do as much work as you can until you are dismissed to change clothes and get on the party bus. (Deena will send more detailed reminder about times later.)

Your options for this day are either go to work or go to the game.  You may not go golfing or do any alternative activity.  OK?
 
For the seniors, here are the coverage details for you:
1. On-call VA interns (not the AIs) sign out to Tim F (the NF)--no later than midnight on the night before the game
2. Green medicine senior (Kim Tran) takes call for Suthee on Green Medicine at the VA on 5/15
3.  Collins Okolie (this is the "con" part of ConJep)--comes to UH at 11P on 5/14 and takes signout from the admitting interns and does cross-cover until 0700 on 5/15.
4. There is no cross-cover at UH on 5/15
5.  The UH 1-resident teams on call 5/15 are covered by their respective seniors overnight (unless AIs are on call--then everything normal)
6. Ashley Rosko covers Eckel overnight 5/15
7. Isabel Mira covers Hellerstein overnight 5/15
8. ICU seniors cover their interns

Brenner: you are post-call from Carpenter.  You will sign out to the cross-cover senior (Collins Okolie) at midnight and come back in the am for rounds.
Colburn: Your clinic has been cancelled
Cuschieri: MICU--your senior covers
Decker: You are post-call Weisman.  Sign out at midnight to Collins and come back for rounds in am
Dota:  You're on ambulatory--no coverage
El-Amm:  You're on vacation.  You are welcome to come to the game if you're in town.
Priya:  Regular ward day.  Round in am, sign out to your senior.
Prashanth: Ambulatory--no coverage necessary
Sebastian: post-call Eckel.  Sign out to Collins at midnight and come back for rounds in the am.
Myttle:  VAMICU--covered by your senior
Nguyen: Firm urgent in the am--go and see patients until 10A, then the attending sees the rest and you go over to UH.  You have DMC clinic in pm--will be cancelled or covered.
O'Leary:  Hellerstein short call--you may get night floats, but sign out to your senior when time to go to game
Palfreyman: You have MICU long call the night before.  Sign out to your senior no later than midnight and come back for part of rounds the next morning.
Pathak:  Elective, no coverage required
Parchman: Vacation--you're welcome to come to the game...
Peterson:  ConJep--won't pull you for this day.  You have cross-cover the night before.  Sign out to Collins Okolie no later than midnight.
Phan: Vacation--come to the game if you're in town
Rehman: Neuro--no coverage required
Russell:  Carpenter non-call day--sign out to senior
