History/Overview

In the autumn of 1991, an ad hoc group of chief residents formed the Association of Residents and Fellows. The goal: To form an advocacy group to serve as a mechanism for presenting residents' concerns to the administration to help develop solutions to the problems inherent in residency training. Currently, the ARF serves more than 700 residents and fellows training at UHCMC.
